"I have...a hunch I.....have....a hunch" (Read with William Shatner pauses)

I'm getting so political lately! Here in this piece, we see the triumphant "Captain Joebus" and the gypsy "Kamalelda", (or is it "Esmeramala"?), on their way to restore order, sanity and natural skin tones. In the background, we see the evil "Don Frollo", having fallen to his demise. It looks like he's seeing stars, as well as a nasty looking virus! I would recommend staying far away from him for a while. A long while.

Rough drawing!

Dead President

Boy I can be mean-spirited sometimes! And since when did I get so political? As usual, here's the finished piece, along with my little "art of" gallery, so you can see the thought process behind my sick, twisted concept.

"Pool Boy!!"

Yeah, I'm getting "political" again.

So, the task was to design a "pool boy". At first he was going to be kind of skinny and "punkish"..

...then, I thought I would make him a little "heftier". I think I might have been thinking of the character of "Barley" from Pixar's "Onward".

"A Taste of His Own Medicine"

I just finished this one. I've never really done anything "political" before, but current circumstances are driving a lot of us into trying quite a few "firsts" aren't they? That and this down time is really getting the creative juices flowing.

Challenge Accepted!

Okay, so what's with the characters? First of all, I did some reposting of some of the same drawings from a few days ago because my scanner was temporarily off line, and I had to use my phone to take pictures, resulting in what I find to be inferior results. But the scanner is back online (the downtime with the current crisis has actually gifted me with a lot of free time, which I'm making good use of. Resourcefulness. It's a beautiful thing) with the higher quality, scanned images.
So, why the characters? Well, a co-worker of mine who is a voice over artist issued a challenge (in conjunction with the current health crisis) to all the artist types out there to draw him some characters, which he said he would provide voices for. So, again, "Challenge Accepted"! #quarantinechallenge  #youdrawitivoiceit

By the way, I don't think he specified gender.
